The Patiala necklace was a gift to Sir Maharaja Bhupinder and adorned with precious stones, and has approximately 2,930 diamonds, metals and pearls. The central diamond necklace was the seventh largest in the world, approximately 234.6 carats. The necklace disappeared mysteriously in 1948 and the last one wore was the son of Maharaja, Sheikh Yadavindra.
